Site History
After several days of feuding, Raxit(The owner and webmaster of ZeldaRepublic.) suggested he and Pretendo(Previous Co-owner of ZeldaRepublic) become friends again, Pretendo thought long about this, before finally agreeing that they become friends again.
During one late-night conversation, Pretendo suggested they make their own Zelda site, after about an hour they finally found the right host(Weebly) and started working.
Later, the two started a staff hunt on most major Zelda fan-site forums(Like Zeldauniverse) after one day, Raxit had already recruited two staff members(Random person and Skull_Kid) and they quickly got to work on the layout/Design of their recently made website.
On new years eve, the site was finally published and two webmasters laid back and watched in pride as what they had spent time on, became real, it was an amazing and relieving day for all our staff members.
Later, Raxit established an agreement with Pocodudeface(Webmaster of our first affiliated site) that he would help out the site to start off with(Raxit did this as Pretendo was saying he might have to leave).
Later, on the 14th of January 2012, crisis struck the site. Due to a large argument between the two webmasters, Pretendo finally left the site, leaving Raxit and the remaining staff to rebuild the site. Raxit continued to try and talk to Pretendo, but it was no use, he left us forever. That is, until, he returned under an alter ego in hopes of a prank.
Proceeding. Raxit contacted Pocodudeface, and told him he would be glad for help at this point, and Poco, was willing to help out. Everyone from ZR is very appreciative of what Poco decided to do, and you should all be,(Check out his site: Nintendocastle).
Also on the 14th of January 2012, Sikora became part of Staff. Sikora started peicing the site back together and started filling in the "Games" and fixing the multiple other pages.
On the 16th of January 2012, Sikora created and published the Banner and logo. Sikora also kick started the ZeldaRepublicMedia's YouTube channel. And Herman created the Forums page.
On the 17th of January 2012, Sikora Updated the Logo and Banner. Herman edited the "Forum" page, he changed the appearance of the forums and edited how it worked.
Sikora was promoted to the title of webmaster. This was due to him being the most active staff member, and without him we wouldn't be where we are now.
Febuary 2, 2012: The merge of ZR and ZL rendered Zelda Republic inactive for over a year! Should we revive ZR? We want to but until then, this site is officially being rendered as "Inactive". -Sikora & Herman, the last of the ZR.
